Davis School District Offers Free Meals to Combat Summer Hunger
As summer begins, many students face food insecurity with the end of school-provided meals. To combat this, school districts across the Wasatch Front are offering free summer meal programs. In Davis School District, children under 18 can receive free lunches Monday through Thursday at twelve locations, including Adelaide Elementary in Bountiful and Antelope Elementary in Clearfield, and Monday through Friday at four additional schools. The program runs until late July, ensuring students have access to nutritious meals during the summer break.

Canoe Capsizes at Bountiful Pond, All Rescued Safely
On Saturday, the South Davis Metro Fire Service Area responded to an incident at Bountiful Pond in West Bountiful. Four individuals needed assistance after their canoe capsized, leaving them unable to right it on their own. Battalions 81, 83, and 85 were dispatched to the scene. Thankfully, all four individuals were wearing life jackets and emerged unscathed. This incident serves as an important reminder of the value of personal flotation devices for anyone participating in water-based activities.
Reminder: Help John Recover!
Farmington community is rallying to support John, a beloved Park Lane Chevron employee, after his severe accident. John's cheerful presence is dearly missed, and he needs our help. Donate to Susan Frank's Venmo or contact her directly to support John's recovery. Every bit helps!
