Centerville Police Stress Park Regulations for Pet Owners
The Centerville Police Department is reminding residents to adhere to city regulations regarding pet ownership in public parks. According to a recent post on their Facebook page, the department emphasized the importance of cleaning up after pets and keeping them on leashes while in city parks, as stipulated by City Code 8.02.100. This reminder comes in response to an increase in pet-related issues within the parks, which have raised concerns about cleanliness and safety.
The police department's message highlights the community's shared responsibility to maintain the parks' condition for all visitors. Properly disposing of pet waste and ensuring pets are leashed can prevent accidents and contribute to a pleasant environment for everyone. The department urges all pet owners to be considerate and follow these guidelines to help keep the parks enjoyable and safe.
City Code 8.02.100 requires that all pets in public parks be on a leash no longer than six feet. Additionally, pet owners must clean up and dispose of any waste their animals produce. Violating these rules can result in fines and other penalties.
Residents are encouraged to report any violations of these regulations to the Centerville Police Department to ensure the parks remain a welcoming space for all.

Hopebox Theatre Honors Cancer Patient with Unique 'Oliver' Production
Hopebox Theatre's production of "Oliver" in Kaysville offers a fresh take on the classic Broadway musical by incorporating a steampunk aesthetic and a live band. The performance stays true to the original story of Oliver Twist while adding a unique visual style. The theatre, founded by cancer survivor Jan Williams, dedicates each show to someone battling cancer. The current honoree is Tad Packer, a stage 4 lung cancer patient. Proceeds from the show will benefit Packer. "Oliver" runs through July 13, featuring popular songs like โFood, Glorious Foodโ and โIโll Do Anything.โ

Field of Dreams Day: A Joyous Respite for Utah Foster Families
Utah foster families enjoyed "Field of Dreams Day" at Smith's Ballpark, organized by Beehive Meals, Salt Lake Bees, and Utah Foster Care. The event featured games, food, and fun for nearly 100 families. Additionally, 50 kits for teens transitioning out of foster care were prepared. Utah first lady Abby Cox highlighted the event's importance in providing respite and joy to foster families facing daily challenges and trauma.

Medicare Expert Tip: Choosing the Right Coverage
Common Question: How do I know what Medicare coverage is right for me?
Answer: Understanding your personal healthcare needs is key. For example, if you currently take prescription drugs, ensure you get Part D prescription drug coverage. This can be through a stand-alone Part D plan or a Medicare Advantage plan with drug coverage.
Need help navigating your options? Contact John Miller for expert guidance tailored to your needs.
