🏞️ Centerville Eyes Major Trail Expansion

Centerville is moving forward with its first-ever Trails Master Plan, a long-term vision to add about 20 miles of multi-use foothill trails for hikers, bikers, and equestrians. The city's first priority is upgrading the Deuel Creek trailhead with paved parking, restrooms, and other improvements to help unlock future trail expansion and qualify for grants.

Better trail access and improved facilities would make one of Centerville's most popular outdoor destinations more accessible while helping secure funding for future recreation projects. 👉 Read More

🚗 Volunteers Needed to Deliver Meals to Homebound Seniors

Looking for a meaningful way to give back? The Davis County Senior Activity Centers are seeking dependable volunteers (18+) to help deliver meals to homebound older adults. Volunteers typically serve 2–4 hours on weekdays, and vehicles are provided. It's a wonderful opportunity to make a real difference while sharing a friendly smile with someone who may need it most.

🥖 The Great Robintino's Breadstick Mystery

One simple question this week had Bountiful residents reminiscing about one of the city's most beloved restaurants:

"Does anyone have a copycat recipe for Robintino's breadsticks... and the ranch?"

What followed was a flood of memories, recipe suggestions, and a little detective work.

Some longtime locals claimed the famous breadsticks were actually pre-made and ordered from a supplier. Others insisted they've found the closest match at Dick's Market or Smith's. One resident even shared the story of making what he believes was the very last order of Robintino's breadsticks before the restaurant closed. 🍞❤️

As for the ranch? Several people agreed this simple recipe comes surprisingly close:

🥣 "Robintino's-Style" Ranch (According to a Local)

• 1 cup mayonnaise (Best Foods/Hellmann's)
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix

Mix together, refrigerate until chilled and thickened... then grab some breadsticks! 😋

Of course, the conversation wasn't just about breadsticks. Readers also shared memories of the garlic bread, hickory burgers, salad dressings, and the restaurant that was a Bountiful tradition for decades.
