Community Effort Underway to Locate Missing North Salt Lake Dog

A pitbull/Shar Pei mix has been missing for four days, with concerned community members rallying to locate him. Despite numerous sightings over the past few days, the dog's whereabouts remain unknown. Last spotted at Hatch Park, he was seen heading east.

The dog was initially in the care of a local girl in the Foxboro neighborhood. The owner, unable to keep the dog at his residence, entrusted the pet to this girl, who unfortunately lost him twice within five days. This situation led to a delay in the search effort, as the owner had nowhere to take the dog back to.

Now, a group of dedicated neighbors has taken up the cause, urgently seeking any information on the dog's location. The group reports that the dog has been primarily seen around Lee’s Marketplace and Maverik on Redwood Road. However, no sightings have been reported since last night, increasing the urgency of the search.

The dog is described as very skittish, making it difficult for anyone to catch him. The group has devised a plan to safely capture him once they can determine his location. Both Davis County and Salt Lake County dispatchers have been notified, and community members are asked to report any sightings immediately.

Mosquito Abatement Worker Accused of Planting Camera in Locker Room

A 22-year-old employee of the Mosquito Abatement District in Davis County, Gavin Allen Malo, has been arrested after a hidden camera was found in the women’s locker room at the district's facility in Kaysville. The investigation began when a camera was discovered concealed in a vent. Initial findings from the memory card indicate between 10 and 18 potential victims. Malo, who worked as a field technician, has been placed on administrative leave and is cooperating with authorities.
