No Injuries Reported in Six-Vehicle Crash That Closed I-15 in Davis County

A multi-vehicle crash on I-15 in Woods Cross during the morning commute yesterday led to the complete closure of southbound lanes. The incident, which involved at least six vehicles, occurred around 7:45 a.m., causing traffic to back up for six miles and spill onto nearby highways. Crews began clearing the scene about 45 minutes later, gradually reopening lanes by 9 a.m. Despite the severity of the crash, no injuries were reported. The cause of the accident remains unknown, and no citations were issued.

Driver Found Dead in Truck Hours After Kaysville Collision

Early Wednesday, a tragic accident occurred on the West Davis Corridor near Kaysville, Utah. A man driving a Chevy pickup lost control, veering into oncoming traffic, where his vehicle was struck by a Ford F-150. While the Chevy driver was hospitalized, the Ford was initially overlooked, only to be discovered hours later by a passing motorist. The Ford's driver was found dead at the scene. Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash, and further details about the victims have not been released.

Boulton Elementary is hosting a Kneaders Food Night on August 28, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kneaders location in North Salt Lake, located at 1050 N 500 E. During this event, 20% of all menu item sales will be donated to Boulton Elementary. This is a great opportunity for the community to enjoy a meal while supporting the school.

Join us for the VHS Cheer Annual Mini Cheer Camp! This exciting event is open to kids ages 4-12 and will take place at the VHS Auxiliary Gym. Campers will participate in fun and engaging cheer practices on August 28th and 29th from 5-6 PM. The camp culminates with a thrilling halftime performance at the football game on August 30th!
