Support Pours In for Farmington Athlete Fighting Brain Injuries
A Farmington community has come together to support 17-year-old Skye Siddoway, a standout track star who is in intensive care after a severe fall from a tree. Siddoway, known for her leadership and running records, suffered traumatic brain injuries and is in a medically induced coma. Her friends and teammates are rallying around her, holding events in her honor and sharing messages of strength. The community has also set up a GoFundMe to help cover medical costs. Skye's recovery remains uncertain, but those close to her remain hopeful.

🏡 Centerville Family's Home Transformed by Local Charity
A charity group called Little Miracles recently renovated the home of a Centerville family, led by a single mother of four whose husband passed away a few years ago. The organization, which helps single-parent families in Utah, rallied dozens of volunteers to upgrade the family's house while they were away. The mother expressed immense gratitude for the transformation, calling it a hopeful new beginning. The project highlights the spirit of "neighbors helping neighbors," a core value of the charity that has assisted over 150 families in the last decade.

Dog Waste on Trails Threatens Utah's Water Quality
Wilderness officials in Utah are warning that unscooped dog waste on trails can contaminate water sources, including lakes and streams, with harmful bacteria and parasites like E. coli and salmonella. Reports show that 40% of dog owners don’t clean up after their pets, contributing to water pollution and affecting local ecosystems. The U.S. Forest Service encourages dog owners to use waste bags and trash cans to help keep trails clean and protect water quality.

Viewmont Falls Short Against Northridge After Strong Early Performance
Viewmont High put up a strong fight against Northridge in a tough 24-13 loss on their home field. Viewmont's standout moment came with an electrifying 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown that brought them within striking distance. However, despite their defensive efforts, the offense struggled to find momentum in the second half, and Northridge's defense capitalized with a late interception to secure the win. The defeat ended Viewmont's unbeaten run, moving them to a 4-1 record.

Medicare Tip of the Week: Embrace Telehealth
Did you know that Medicare has expanded its coverage for telehealth services? Now you can conveniently consult with healthcare providers from the comfort of your home, making it easier to manage your routine care and consultations.
Key Points:
- Convenient Access: Telehealth allows you to connect with your doctor via phone or video for non-urgent visits, follow-ups, or preventive services.
- Medicare Coverage: Check if your Medicare plan supports telehealth services. Many Medicare Advantage plans offer extensive telehealth coverage, and Original Medicare covers a range of virtual services.
- Stay on Top of Your Health: Telehealth can be a great option for routine check-ups, mental health consultations, and managing chronic conditions—all without leaving home.
Take Advantage:
Talk to your doctor to see how telehealth can fit into your healthcare routine. For more personalized advice on how to use telehealth with your Medicare plan, contact John Miller today.
