Farmington High Football Team Builds Strength and Unity with SWAT-Led Challenge

The South Davis Metropolitan SWAT Team, hosted by the Bountiful Police Department, recently assisted the Farmington High School Football Team with a team-building experience. This included a challenging hike to Flag Rock in Farmington, where players carried both the American Flag and their school flag. The 36-hour exercise aimed to strengthen the team's unity and resilience, highlighting the collaborative efforts between local law enforcement and the community.

Medicare Beware: Don’t Fall for "Free" Offers

Tip of the Week: Be cautious of offers for "free" medical equipment or services.

Key Points:

- Beware of Scams: Scammers often use the lure of free medical equipment or services to obtain your Medicare Number. They may then use it for fraudulent billing, charging Medicare for services or items you never received.

- No Such Thing as Free: Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Legitimate Medicare services or equipment require a doctor's prescription and are not offered unsolicited.

- Protect Your Medicare Number: Never share your Medicare Number with someone offering free items or services. Always verify the legitimacy of any offer through Medicare directly.

Stay Safe:

- Be skeptical of any unsolicited offers and always consult with your healthcare provider or Medicare before agreeing to anything. For more tips on protecting your Medicare information, contact John Miller for expert advice.
