North Salt Lake Residents Face Broken Pipes Amid Fiber Optic Installations

Two homes in North Salt Lake’s Foxboro community experienced broken pipes due to fiber optic installations by Lumen and Google Fiber. Both companies quickly collaborated on repairs, with Lumen handling the more severe damage. Contractors worked efficiently, avoiding major disruption by tunneling under a driveway. Residents are advised to contact the companies if facing similar issues.

Centerville Students Celebrate Community Spirit with Pie-Filled Festivities

Students at Taylor Elementary in Centerville, Utah, have demonstrated the power of teamwork and community spirit through a recent service project led by their Student Council. Setting out with a goal to assemble 75 hygiene kits for the Bountiful Food Pantry, the students surpassed expectations by collecting enough supplies to create 106 complete kits.

This achievement was made possible by the enthusiastic participation of both students and their families, highlighting the school’s commitment to service and leadership.

To mark the success of the project, the school organized a lighthearted outdoor celebration where several teachers and administrators became good sports by taking pies to the face, much to the delight of the students. The event not only recognized the students' hard work but also reinforced the joy that comes from giving back to the community.

🚘 Reckless Driver Sought Following Farmington Freeway Crash

A Farmington trucking company is offering a $1,500 reward to identify a driver who cut off a semitruck, causing it to jackknife on the freeway. The driver of the bluish-gray Honda fled the scene. No injuries occurred, but traffic was disrupted. The company is using dashcam footage and calling for stricter penalties for reckless driving. Anyone with information is asked to contact the company at 801-295-8824.
