A man is walking in a graveyard when he hears the Third Symphony played backward. When itโs over, the Second Symphony starts playing, also backward, and then the First.
โWhatโs going on?โ he asks a cemetery worker.
โItโs Beethoven,โ says the worker. โHeโs decomposing.โ

Illegal Fireworks Cause Grass Fire, Leading to Juvenile Arrests in Davis County
A group of juveniles was detained in Kaysville, Davis County, after allegedly throwing fireworks from a car, which ignited a grass fire near I-15. The fire caused significant traffic disruptions and required a multi-agency firefighting response. Authorities stress the importance of adhering to local fireworks laws to prevent such dangerous incidents.
Woods Cross Man Dies in Tragic Fall from Bedroom Window
A 32-year-old Woods Cross man died after accidentally falling out of his bedroom window, landing 23 feet below. Neighbors discovered him injured, and police attempted lifesaving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. The fall was deemed accidental, resulting from leaning on the window screen. His identity has not been released.
Starbucks in Woods Cross Aims to Join Six Unionized Stores in Utah
The Starbucks in Woods Cross, Utah, has filed for a union election, aiming to join six other unionized locations in the state. The workers are seeking better conditions regarding respect, living wages, racial and gender equity, and fair scheduling. This initiative is part of a nationwide movement, with several Starbucks stores pushing for unionization to address systemic issues such as short staffing, low wages, and unaffordable healthcare. The petition was submitted to the National Labor Relations Board with support from Starbucks Workers United.

Medicare Beware: Guard Against Fake Representatives
Tip of the Week: Scammers often pose as Medicare agents offering free services or equipment. Remember, Medicare does not send representatives to your home or call to sell you anything.
Key Points to Remember:
- No Home Visits or Sales Calls: Medicare will never send someone to your home or call you to sell services or equipment.
- Stay Skeptical: Be cautious of anyone claiming to be a Medicare representative offering unsolicited help or items.
- Verify Authenticity: If you receive such a call or visit, hang up or shut the door and call Medicare directly at 1-800-MEDICARE to verify the information.
Stay safe and informed. If in doubt, contact John Miller for trusted advice.

Want Sโmore Wood? Local Fundraiser๐
Farnsworthโs kids are selling firewood to help cover costs for their extra activities like swim team, mountain biking, and ballet. Theyโve worked hard to cut, split, and box this wood all on their own. Each large banana box is packed full, including kindling pieces, with a mix of aspen and pine. The wood is very dry and ready to burn.
Theyโre calling their project โSโmore Woodโ and are selling it for just $10 a box! (Thatโs at least twice the amount of wood youโd get in a gas station bundle.) You can pay via Venmo and pick up from their house in Farmington.
If youโre interested, message Lori for details. Thank you for your support!
