Bountiful Museum Hosts Annual Free History Bus Tour on Handcart Days

The Bountiful Museum is hosting its annual Free Bountiful History Bus Tour this Saturday, July 20th, alongside the Handcart Days Celebration. The tours, departing every half hour from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, offer an immersive historical experience and a chance to meet Sandy Inman, the Grand Marshall. The museum seeks volunteers to help with greeting and escorting visitors. This event is free, but seating is limited.

Woods Cross Police Department Welcomes New Officers

Officer Smith and Officer Knapp were sworn in as the newest members of the Woodscross Police Department during the City Council meeting on Tuesday. The department expressed excitement about their arrival, emphasizing their role in enhancing community safety and security.

Remarkable Performances by Local Coaches at National Swim Meet

Local swim coaches from Layton High School and Farmington High School achieved remarkable success at the U.S. Masters Swimming National Championships. Rachelle Woodbury, head coach of Layton High, excelled in six events, surpassing her best times. Cristian Corbett, Layton’s assistant coach, achieved three lifetime bests in his events. Stacy Edholm, Farmington High's head coach, showcased her versatility across six events. A highlight was the 200-yard Medley Relay, where Woodbury and Edholm teamed up, demonstrating their skills and teamwork, leaving a lasting impression on the competition.

Concerts will be held at the Main Stage at the Bountiful City Park: 400 North and 200 West. They take place on Friday evenings at 7PM. There will be food trucks at site at each concert.

Rock the Park at Station Park

This summer you can enjoy local, live entertainment and bands next to the fountains at Station Park. Grab dinner first or bring a picnic from home to eat while you listen. Rock the Park will take place Friday evenings in August. Concert details can be found on their Facebook page!
