Local Artist and Future Art School Student Offers Summer Classes for Kids

We love to share local talent, and Samantha Carpenter is a shining example. A 2024 graduate, Samantha is offering art classes for children this summer before she heads off to art school. With over a year of experience teaching art to kids, Samantha is excited to share her passion for art. She has organized four classes for the summer, providing a fun and creative outlet for young artists. More information and sign-up details can be found here.

Join the Owl Prowl: A Morning Adventure on Antelope Island

Antelope Island offers a unique experience for wildlife enthusiasts through the Owl Prowl event, making owl spotting easier and more accessible. Hosted by Park Naturalist Trish Ackley, the event highlights the island's impressive biodiversity beyond its famous bison. Visitors can encounter several owl species, including the diurnal burrowing owl, active during the day, making the morning event ideal for sightings. The event, starting at 9 a.m. on June 29, is family-friendly and recommends essentials like bug spray and binoculars for a successful outing.

Bountiful City’s Music in the Park

Concerts will be held at the Main Stage at the Bountiful City Park: 400 North and 200 West. They take place on Friday evenings at 7PM starting in late June. There will be food trucks at site at each concert.

Rock the Park at Station Park

This summer you can enjoy local, live entertainment and bands next to the fountains at Station Park. Grab dinner first or bring a picnic from home to eat while you listen. Rock the Park will take place Friday evenings in August. Concert details can be found on their Facebook page! 

Concerts on the Hill at Cherry Hill

Concerts take place under the stars every Friday evening on the Lucky 7 stage Cherry Hill's Grants Gultch (1325 South Main Street, Kaysville). Concerts for 2024 will start in June. Click here for details!
