South Davis Water Polo Team Serves Beyond the Pool
The South Davis Water Polo Club is known not only for athletic talent but also for giving back. Each season, the team takes on a community service project, a tradition going strong for over a decade.
Past efforts include cleaning local parks, helping seniors with yard work, hosting events at care centers, and supporting food pantries and homeless shelters.
This season, the team volunteered at a shelter for women and children escaping domestic abuse. They sorted clothing, cleaned facilities, organized furniture, and more—offering real help to those in need.
These athletes are proving that true strength lies in service.

From Farmington to Freedom: A Family’s Journey Toward Peace and Healing
A Utah family gave up their dream home in Farmington to help their 8-year-old son, Hyrum, who is on the autism spectrum, find peace. After years of therapy and daily stress with little improvement, the Clarks sold their belongings, bought an RV, and began traveling across the western U.S.
Life on the road—surrounded by open spaces and nature—proved transformative. Away from the noise and pressure of suburban life, Hyrum became calmer, his anxiety eased, and his well-being improved. The change not only helped him thrive but brought the whole family a new sense of balance.
What started as a desperate move has turned into a healing journey of freedom, resilience, and hope.

Step Inside Lehi’s Magical Halloween House – If You Dare!
There’s something truly special happening in Lehi this Halloween — and it’s not your average front-porch display.
Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, one local family has turned their entire home into a full-blown Halloween wonderland, and it’s nothing short of incredible. From hand-crafted decorations to room-by-room transformations, every inch of their house is drenched in spooky creativity and festive flair. It’s like stepping into a haunted storybook — but with more charm than fright.
The best part? They actually live in this Halloween house all October long. Every day. Every night. Surrounded by ghosts, pumpkins, and cobweb-covered chandeliers.
And on Halloween night, they’re opening their doors to the public.
From 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on October 31st, anyone is welcome to stop by, walk through the house, and soak up all the spooky-good vibes. Admission is completely free, though donations are welcome and appreciated to help keep the tradition alive.
If you’re in the area — or even if you’re not — this is worth the trip. Bring a friend, dress up, and prepare to be wowed.
📍 Address: 3375 N 150 W, Lehi, UT
🕖 Open to the public: Halloween night, 7–11 p.m.
💸 Cost: Free (donations appreciated)
Trust us: You don’t want to miss this one.

Mammoth Win Seventh Straight, Outlast Jets in Tight Road Battle
The Utah Mammoth defeated the Winnipeg Jets 3-2 on Sunday, extending their winning streak to seven games. Despite a challenging travel schedule, they won both ends of a back-to-back series. Dylan Guenther scored the decisive goal in the third period, tying for the league lead in game-winners. Goalie Vítek Vaněček made key saves to secure the victory, while several top players extended their point streaks. The Mammoth now lead the Western Conference and continue to show growth, confidence, and playoff-caliber composure.

The Sweet Truth About Halloween and Dogs
Chocolate, xylitol, and wrappers—oh my! Halloween treats can be tricky for pups. Here’s how to keep tails wagging safely:
⚠️ Avoid:
• Chocolate – Even small amounts can cause vomiting or worse.
• Sugar-free candy & gum (xylitol) – Can drop blood sugar and damage the liver.
• High-fat treats – Like peanut butter cups or truffles; can trigger pancreatitis.
• Wrappers & hard candies – Choking and stomach hazards.
🦴 Try Instead:
• West Paw Toppl – Fill with pumpkin purée, goat’s milk, and kibble for a healthy Halloween “treat.”
• Doggin Stix Chews – Long-lasting and great for stress relief during trick-or-treat chaos.
• Crunchy or dehydrated chews – Bully sticks, trachea, or freeze-dried duck heads (a spooky favorite!).
. Themed “dog treat bowls - Create a festive “treat bowl” for your dog filled with healthy goodies and chews. It lets them join the fun while everyone else is enjoying candy—no temptation, no tummy trouble.
