Memorial Day Program TODAY in Bountiful Features Flyover and Flag Ceremony

The Bountiful Veterans Park is hosting the annual Memorial Day Program to honor the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. This heartfelt and patriotic event invites the community to come together in remembrance and reflection on the values of service and sacrifice.

The event will take place TODAY, from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at Bountiful Veterans Park, located at 750 S 100 E, Bountiful, UT, 84010.

Program Highlights:

The program will begin with a warm welcome and opening remarks, setting the tone for a day of reflection and gratitude. Brent Jones will lead a devotional, followed by a flag-raising ceremony to symbolize the unity and pride of the nation.

The National Anthem will be performed, and attendees will join in the Pledge of Allegiance, reaffirming their commitment to the country. The event will feature speeches from distinguished guests and musical performances that will stir patriotic emotions.

One of the key moments will be the military flag raising and the placement of a memorial wreath, paying tribute to the fallen heroes. The program will conclude with closing tributes and a symbolic flyover, adding a dramatic touch to the solemn event.

A flag retirement ceremony will also take place, providing a respectful and dignified way to retire worn flags, underscoring the reverence and respect for the national symbol.
