🧠 Free Youth Mental Health Screening in Farmington
The Davis County Health Department is hosting a free mental health screening for students in grades 6–12 on March 11 in Farmington. Youth will complete a brief questionnaire and meet confidentially with a counselor, with the option to connect to additional resources if needed. This is not a full evaluation and no diagnosis will be given.
Why It Matters: It’s a simple, no-cost way for local families to check in on their teen’s emotional well-being and get connected to support early. 👉 Register Here
🚧 Farmington Park Course Closed This Week
Farmington Parks & Recreation announced that the Ninja Warrior Course and 40-yard dash are temporarily closed starting today through Friday for drainage improvements. All other park amenities—including the playground, pavilion, sports courts, walking paths, and boardwalks—remain open. Crews are working to improve conditions and prevent future water issues.
Why It Matters: If your family’s park routine includes the obstacle course or sprint track, you’ll need to plan around the short-term closure this week.
🍊 Oranges Are Back in Bountiful

🏀 Woods Cross Boys Falls in 5A Quarterfinals
Woods Cross’ season ended Monday at the Huntsman Center with a 62–48 loss to Highland. The Wildcats kept it close early (Highland led 30–22 at halftime), but the Rams pulled away in the second half behind balanced scoring. 👉 Read More
Why It Matters: It’s a tough end to a strong run—and a reminder how hard it is to win at state on the neutral-floor “big stage.”
🏀 Bountiful Moves On: Redhawks to the Semis
The Quick Summary: Bountiful knocked out Alta 58–44 to punch a ticket to the 5A semifinals. Lincoln Smith led the way with 23 points (including 5-for-6 from three), and Bountiful will face Pleasant Grove on Thursday at 4 p.m. 👉Read More
Why It Matters: Bountiful is now two wins away from a state title—local fans have a meaningful March run to rally around.

🐾 When “Dog Breath” Isn’t Just Dog Breath 👃🐕
Many owners think bad breath is normal — but it’s often an early sign of plaque and tartar quietly building up.
Daily chewing and licking activities help:
• Scrape teeth naturally
• Stimulate healthy saliva flow
• Support long-term dental health
The key isn’t perfection — it’s consistency.
If you’ve been meaning to start a dental routine, this month is a great time. Our team at Preppy Paws is happy to help you find the right fit (and yes, PlaqueOff chews are $2 off right now 😉).
