Antelope Island's Spider Fest Set to Fascinate Visitors on July 27

Antelope Island's Spider Fest will occur on July 27, 2024, featuring educational activities, expert talks, guided spider walks, and community science projects. The event promotes understanding and appreciation of spiders' ecological roles.

Drought-Resistant Grass Now Legal in Utah: A Boon for Water Conservation

Utah has legalized hybrid Bermudagrass due to its drought-resistant properties. This decision follows years of research showing the grass can stay green without water for six weeks and is noninvasive. The move aims to enhance water conservation efforts in the state.

Fireworks Negligence Leads to Destructive Layton Fire

A Layton fire caused by negligent use of fireworks destroyed a home and vehicles, including a tow truck crucial to the homeowner's income. Two young adults and a juvenile have been arrested. Neighbors are providing support and donations to the displaced family.

Concerts will be held at the Main Stage at the Bountiful City Park: 400 North and 200 West. They take place on Friday evenings at 7PM. There will be food trucks at site at each concert.

Rock the Park at Station Park

This summer you can enjoy local, live entertainment and bands next to the fountains at Station Park. Grab dinner first or bring a picnic from home to eat while you listen. Rock the Park will take place Friday evenings in August. Concert details can be found on their Facebook page!
