๐จ Juvenile Airlifted After Tree Fall in Kaysville

๐งBountiful Outdoor Watering Restrictions Now in Effect
Bountiful City has announced new outdoor watering restrictions for residents who use culinary (drinking) water for lawns, gardens, and landscaping. The rules are aimed at protecting water supplies during ongoing drought conditions and lower well levels. From May 15 through Sept. 15, properties are limited to three watering days per week based on address numbers, with no watering allowed on Wednesdays or between 1 PM and 6 PM.
Even-numbered addresses may water Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. Odd-numbered addresses may water Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday. Run times are also capped at 20 minutes for spray heads and 40 minutes for rotor systems.
Residents who violate the restrictions could face escalating fines, starting with a written warning and reaching up to service shutoff for repeated violations.

๐ง Overnight Road Closures Planned Near Shepard Lane
Drivers in Farmington should plan for overnight road closures beginning Thursday, May 28 through Saturday, May 30 as crews complete pavement sealing and striping near the Shepard Lane interchange project. Portions of 1500 West, 1290 North, East Shepard Lane, Frontage Road, North Station Lane, and Innovator Drive will close nightly at 9 PM and reopen by 7 AM each morning.
Residents nearby may notice extra noise, dust, truck traffic, and vibrations during overnight construction hours. Drivers are encouraged to follow posted detour routes and allow extra travel time in the area.
Overnight closures and detours could impact late-night commutes and access around one of Farmingtonโs busiest growing corridors.

๐ฅ Rocky Mountain Power Warns of Possible Summer Shutoffs
๐ฅ Rocky Mountain Power says itโs prepared to temporarily shut off electricity in high-risk areas this wildfire season if weather conditions become too dangerous. The utility says extreme heat, dry conditions, and Utahโs record-low snowpack have increased the risk of fast-moving fires across the state.
Officials say customers would receive advance notice โ potentially 48 hours ahead โ before any โPublic Safety Power Shutoffโ events. The move is designed to prevent sparks from power lines during high winds or active fire conditions.
For South Davis residents, that could mean planned outages during peak fire danger days this summer, especially near foothill and wildfire-prone areas. ๐ Read More

๐ฟYour Body Keeps Score
Your body is constantly communicating with you. Tight shoulders, fatigue, headaches, irritability, trouble sleeping โ these arenโt signs that youโre failing. Theyโre signals that your body may need care, rest, and support.
โจ Wellness Tip:
Instead of asking yourself, โWhatโs wrong with me?โ
Try asking: โWhat is my body trying to tell me?โ
That simple shift moves you from judgment into awareness โ and awareness is where healing begins.
Take a few moments today to check in with yourself.
Slow your breathing. Stretch your body. Drink more water. Rest when needed.
Your body is not working against you.
Itโs working hard to bring you back into balance. ๐
