Clean Out Your Closet for a Cause: Support WXHS Theater
Woods Cross High School's Theater Department is calling on the community to support their upcoming 2024-2025 season. As you clean out your closets this summer, consider setting aside a box of books, clothes, household textiles, small household goods, and media items for donation. These contributions will help fundraise for an exciting lineup of seven shows throughout the school year.
Donations can be dropped off at the Little Theatre during August. Conveniently, you can bring your items when you pick up your computer or parking pass, visit during the Wildcat Welcome event, or any other time you're at school. For those needing a specific drop-off time, arrangements can be made by emailing Mrs. C. - [email protected]

Community Rallies for Steve's Black Sabbath BBQ Owner After Emergency Surgery
Steven Armstrong, the beloved owner of Steveβs Black Sabbath BBQ, is facing a challenging time after an unexpected medical emergency. What initially seemed like a dizzy spell turned out to be a life-threatening brain aneurysm, requiring Steve to undergo emergency surgery last week.
Steve is known for his generosity and dedication to the community, often supporting veterans, friends, and family. Now, the community has a chance to give back to Steve and his family during this difficult time. Amber Ely, a close friend, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to help cover medical expenses and support Steve's recovery.
Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated, but words of encouragement, prayers, and sharing the campaign can also make a significant difference. Let's come together to show Steve how much we care and help him get his "Yee Haw" back.
For more information or to donate, visit the GoFundMe page: Please Help Get Steveβs YeeHaw Back.

Promoting Safe Enjoyment of Shooting Sports Near Davis County
The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) is promoting National Shooting Sports Month in August by offering discounts at the Lee Kay Public Shooting Range in Salt Lake City and the Cache Valley Public Shooting Range in Logan. Both ranges feature a variety of shooting and archery facilities, and emphasize safety through classes and range safety officers. On August 3rd, both ranges will offer free access to select facilities and discounted rounds.
For more details on these ranges and shooting sports regulations in Utah, visit the DWR website at wildlife.utah.gov/shooting-ranges.

Medicare Expert Tip: Cutting Costs on Medications
Tip of the Week: Don't overpay for prescriptions. Hereβs how to save:
Compare Part D Plans Annually:
- Formularies (the list of covered drugs) can change each year. Review your Medicare Part D plan annually during the Open Enrollment Period to ensure you have the best coverage for your medications.
Use Preferred Pharmacies:
- Many plans have preferred pharmacies that offer lower copayments and discounts. Switching to these pharmacies can reduce your out-of-pocket costs.
Consider Mail-Order Services:
- Mail-order pharmacies often provide a 90-day supply of medications at a reduced cost, offering both convenience and savings.
Look into Assistance Programs:
- Programs like Extra Help and state pharmaceutical assistance programs can help cover medication costs for those who qualify. Check your eligibility to take advantage of these savings.
Take Action:
- Start reviewing your options and compare plans now to maximize your savings on prescriptions. For personalized assistance, contact John Miller for expert guidance.

Closing of All American Sheds & Garages
Bountiful Location
All American Sheds & Garages has announced that they will be closing their doors. This decision was made by their corporate headquarters due to the challenging economy and lagging sales. They have a 30-day window to sell as many sheds and garages as possible, offering substantial discounts to their customers.
