🎶 Love the Carpenters? This March 28 Concert Helps Fund Bountiful’s Summer Music Series
Music lovers in South Davis have a chance to enjoy a nostalgic night of classic hits while supporting live music in the community.
On Saturday, March 28 at 7:00 p.m., the tribute band Carpenters Platinum will perform at Woods Cross High School, bringing the timeless music of the Carpenters to the stage.
The concert will feature beloved songs like “Close to You,” “We’ve Only Just Begun,” and “Top of the World,”performed with the rich harmonies and signature sound that made the original duo legendary.
💛 But the evening is about more than great music.
All ticket proceeds will go directly to Bountiful City to help fund the city’s free Summer Concert Series, which brings live performances to the community each year.
Organizers say the concert is an important fundraiser that helps make those popular summer shows possible for local families.
“This concert helps us keep the summer concerts free for everyone,” organizers shared.
Community members are encouraged to gather friends and family for a night of music while supporting the arts in South Davis.

🏠 Doctor Visits Now Come to Your Door
OPTIMAL Family Medicine now offers home visits, allowing patients to see a provider without leaving the house. Services include urgent illness evaluations, blood pressure and glucose checks, prescription refills, chronic condition follow-ups, ear wax removal, and more. Visits include a $40 convenience fee, while insurance is still billed for covered services. Call 801-784-2111 to schedule
Why It Matters:
This new option gives South Davis families, seniors, and busy parents an easier way to get medical care without the trip to a clinic.
🗳️ Ballot Drop Box Moving in Bountiful
The Davis County Commission approved a temporary move for the ballot drop box currently at the Bountiful Library. While the library undergoes a major remodel, the box will be relocated nearby to the Bountiful Senior Center. County officials say the move should last about two years or until construction is complete, with minimal costs beyond basic relocation work.
Why It Matters: Voters will still have a convenient local spot to drop off ballots during the library remodel.

⚾ Viewmont Falls to Timpanogos in Nonregion Game
Timpanogos defeated Viewmont 6–1 in a nonregion high school baseball matchup. The Timberwolves scored early with a run in the first inning and added two more in the third to build momentum. Cooper Hawkes led the offense, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs, while pitcher Corbin Hardy struck out 10 batters to secure the win.
Why It Matters: Early-season nonregion games help teams like Viewmont sharpen up before the tougher Region schedule begins.

🌿 brought to you by “Erin at Soul Elevation Wellness.”

🌿 Ground Your Energy
When life feels overwhelming, your body often needs one simple thing: grounding. Connecting physically with the earth can help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and bring your mind back to the present moment.
Grounding reminds your body that you are safe and supported, helping release built-up tension and restore balance.
✨ Wellness Tip:
Take a few minutes today to step outside barefoot on grass, soil, or sand. If that’s not possible, simply stand outside, take slow breaths, and notice the feeling of your feet connected to the ground.
Imagine any stress or tension flowing down through your body and into the earth.
Sometimes the fastest way to feel balanced again… is to come back down to earth. 🌎💜
