Investigation Ongoing After Woman Found Dead Near Mueller Park

Neighbors Voice Safety Concerns After Incident Near Mueller Park Ballpark
A post shared on the Nextdoor Neighbor app has sparked concern among residents after a woman reported seeing a nude man near Mueller Park over the weekend.
According to the post, the man was seen near the ballpark and seminary building before noon while a family was out walking their dog. Several neighbors responded by urging the incident be reported to police.
The online discussion comes amid heightened attention in the area following a separate death investigation near the park. There has been no official confirmation of the reported exposure incident, and no indication it is connected to that case.
Residents are encouraged to report suspicious activity directly to law enforcement.

Residents Invited to Feb. 17 Centerville City Council Meeting
The Centerville City Council will meet Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. at City Hall. The agenda includes a cemetery update, discussion on meeting minutes, a proposed $69,100 boiler replacement bid, and recognition of a retiring employee. Residents are invited to attend in person or access the agenda online.

๐ Farmington Finishes Strong; Viewmont and Wildcats Fight to the Finish
Girls Basketball: Farmington pulled away in the fourth quarter to defeat Weber 44-26 in Region 1 play. In Region 6 matchups, Viewmont topped Skyline 54-42 with consistent scoring throughout, and Woods Cross fought hard behind 17 points from Adia Cook and 15 from Kalei Crockett in a competitive matchup against Olympus.
Key performances included Kya Newtonโs 17 points for Olympus and Lydia Stringfellowโs 11 points for Viewmont.

๐พ Bored Dogs Get Creativeโฆ in All the Wrong Ways ๐
If your dog has been extra โhelpfulโ lately โ chewing, digging, barking, or stealing socks โ they might just be bored.
Mental enrichment is just as important as physical exercise, especially during busy or indoor-heavy seasons.
Try adding one simple enrichment activity this week:
โข A stuffed Toppl or frozen treat puzzle
โข A 5-minute training game (sit, stay, touch, spin)
โข Hide-and-seek with treats around the house
โข A new safe chew for focused downtime
Just 10โ15 minutes of intentional mental stimulation can reduce unwanted behaviors and boost confidence.
โจ A tired mind = a happier, calmer dog.
Stop by Preppy Paws if youโd like ideas for enrichment toys, chews, or simple ways to add more โbrain workโ to your pupโs routine.
