Bountiful Food Pantry Calls for Grocery Rescue Volunteers

Bountiful Food Pantry is putting out a call for dedicated volunteers to join its Grocery Rescue program—a vital initiative aimed at reducing food waste and feeding the local community. These volunteers help retrieve surplus food from nearby grocery stores and deliver it directly to the pantry, where it's made available in the organization’s community market.

The program currently offers two shift options on Mondays: an early shift from 7 to 10 AM and a late morning shift from 9 AM to 12 PM. Volunteers not only play a key role in preventing food from being thrown away, but also contribute to providing essential items to families in need.

Joining the Grocery Rescue team is more than a task—it's a meaningful way to make a difference every week. Those interested can sign up through the volunteer form online.

Thanks for the reminder, Kaysville Police Department! 👮‍♂️
Over the past month, several Davis County communities have seen an increase in vehicle burglaries. 🏠🚗🔑

Let’s all do our part—lock your home, car, and garage. 👉 Join the #9pmRoutine: take a quick moment each night to double-check doors, windows, and vehicles. A few seconds can help keep our neighborhoods safe.

🍂 Family-Friendly Fall Fun in Utah 🎃

Fall in Utah is pure magic—crisp air, colorful leaves, and festivals packed with pumpkins, treats, and unforgettable memories. Whether you’re a local looking for weekend fun or visiting to soak up some autumn charm, Utah has no shortage of family-friendly fall adventures. From giant corn mazes to pumpkin patches galore, here are some of the best places to celebrate the season with your crew!

Right here in North Salt Lake, Cross E Ranch turns into a harvest wonderland every fall!

  • Pick your own pumpkins 🎃

  • Conquer a giant corn maze 🌽

  • Ride the hay wagon through golden fields 🚜

  • Meet friendly farm animals 🐐

  • End the day with warm homemade treats 🍪

This one’s a can’t-miss for families with little ones.

Thanksgiving Point’s Cornbelly’s is basically the fall hotspot in Utah.

  • Famous themed corn maze

  • Pumpkin patch bursting with orange beauties

  • Hayrides, giant slides, and family games

  • A spooky haunted maze for the brave 👻

Cornbelly’s is more than a festival—it’s a full-on fall extravaganza!

Down in Santaquin, Rowley’s Red Barn is straight out of a storybook.

  • Wagon rides to the pumpkin patch

  • A kid- (and adult-) friendly corn maze

  • Fresh apple cider & homemade donuts (yum!)

A classic, cozy fall tradition for families big and small.

In Wellsville, you can step back in time while still enjoying all the fall fun.

  • Corn maze & hayrides

  • Old-fashioned pioneer games

  • History + hands-on activities = a fun learning adventure!

Perfect for kids (and parents) who love a little history with their hayrides.

If you like your fall with a dash of magic, Gardner Village is calling your name.

  • Witch scavenger hunts 🧹

  • Quirky photo ops with whimsical witches

  • Shops, treats, and live entertainment

It’s a one-of-a-kind fall tradition that feels straight out of a fairy tale!

Located in Draper, this Insta-worthy spot is packed with pumpkin fun.

  • Famous pumpkin walls & photo-perfect displays 📸

  • Vibrant rows of pumpkins for every porch

  • Thriller Park with zombie paintball, inflatables, food trucks & more

It’s part pumpkin patch, part fall carnival—and 100% fun.

🍩 From cider and donuts to Ferris wheels and witches, Utah knows how to do fall right. Gather your family, make some memories, and don’t forget to support local businesses along the way. 🍁

CrossFit Competition in Woods Cross Draws Athletes of All Levels

The Summit Games CrossFit competition took place Sept. 12–14, offering athletes of all levels the chance to test their endurance, strength, and mental resilience. Hosted by Brigham and Sarah Nielsen, the event featured Scaled, Intermediate, Masters, and Elite divisions, with Rockwell CrossFit athletes among the participants. Beyond competition, the event emphasized community and self-improvement. Organizers plan to expand the games next year with more festival-style challenges and activities.

🌿 Wellness Wednesday with Erin 🌿

🌿 The Healing Power of Foot Zoning

Did you know your feet hold a map to your entire body? Through foot zoning, Erin uses gentle pressure and stimulation on specific points of the feet to restore balance, release tension, and support your body’s natural ability to heal.

 Benefits of Foot Zoning:

  • 🌙 Improved Sleep – Many clients report deeper, more restful nights.

  • 😌 Decreased Stress – Foot zoning calms the nervous system, releasing built-up tension.

  • 🌿 Improved Digestion – Helps the body process and absorb nutrients more efficiently.

  • ⚡ Increased Energy – Clears blocked pathways, leaving you refreshed and recharged.

To deepen the experience, Erin enhances sessions with the AromaTouch Technique and essential oils therapy, creating a calming, restorative environment where body and mind can fully relax.

Whether you’re preparing for a wellness retreat, seeking natural stress relief, or simply wanting more balance in daily life, foot zoning is a beautiful, holistic practice that meets you where you are.
