🏐 Woods Cross Sweeps Bountiful, Secures Region Championship

Woods Cross delivered a commanding performance on their home court Tuesday night, sweeping Bountiful in straight sets to not only take down their rival but also secure the Region title. The Wildcats won with set scores of 25–12, 25–15, and 25–16, showcasing their dominance and composure throughout the match.

With the victory, Woods Cross wraps up region play as champions and officially punches their ticket to the upcoming state tournament. 🌿 Wellness Wednesday with Erin 🌿

🌿 1-Minute Vagus Reset — Calm on Cue

Your body has a built-in switch for calm, and it’s called the vagus nerve. When activated, it signals safety to your entire system—slowing your heart rate, easing tension, and clearing mental fog.

Try this mini-reset whenever stress hits:
1️⃣ Sit tall, unclench your jaw, drop your shoulders.
2️⃣ Inhale slowly through your nose for 4 counts.
3️⃣ Exhale with a gentle hum or through pursed lips for 8 counts—the longer exhale tells your body “I’m safe.”
4️⃣ Place a hand on your heart, feel the softening, and repeat five times.

In just one minute, you’ll notice your mind settle and your body unwind. It’s a simple, powerful way to regulate your energy anytime, anywhere. 🌿💜
